Resume

LaTeX source for the resume published at /assets/pdf/resume.pdf on the site. Migrated off Overleaf; edit resume.tex here and compile locally.

Build

make          # compile resume.tex and copy the PDF to ../assets/pdf/resume.pdf
make watch    # rebuild + republish on every save (Ctrl-C to stop)
make clean    # remove LaTeX aux files (.aux, .log, .fdb_latexmk, ...)

The copy into ../assets/pdf/resume.pdf happens automatically after a successful compile (see .latexmkrc). Commit that PDF along with any source changes to update the live site.

Overleaf sync

resume.tex can be round-tripped with an Overleaf project over git. Overleaf’s git remote is a separate repo whose root holds resume.tex, so it’s kept as its own clone outside this site repo (default ~/Projects/overleaf-resume); the Makefile just copies resume.tex between the two.

# one-time: create a Git auth token in Overleaf (Account Settings -> Git
# Integration), grab the project URL from Menu -> Sync -> Git, then:
make overleaf-init OVERLEAF_URL=https://git.overleaf.com/<project-id>

make push     # local resume.tex -> Overleaf (commit + push)
make pull     # Overleaf -> local resume.tex

Requires an Overleaf plan with git access. Only resume.tex is synced — if you add figures or a custom .cls, extend the cp lines in the Makefile.

Requirements

MacTeX / TeX Live with pdflatex and latexmk (already installed). The template uses fontawesome5, latexsym, titlesec, enumitem, and friends — all part of a full TeX Live install.
